WH type slider coupling

WH type slider coupling

· The double-row roller chain adopts the chain specified in GB1243.1-83 “Short pitch precision roller chain for transmission”.
· The keyway form and size of the shaft hole meet the requirements of GB/T3582-1997, The structure and size of the cover are selected according to needs.
· The marking meets GB/T3852-1997.
· The structure is simple, easy to install and disassemble, and there is an empty stroke when reversing. It is not suitable for reverse transmission with large impact load.

WH (formerly KL) slider coupling is a type of coupling without elastic elements. It is mainly used to allow radial offset of two shafts. It consists of a half coupling with grooves on both end faces and a square slider in the middle. The middle slider slides in the corresponding radial grooves on the end faces of the half couplings on both sides to achieve the connection of the two half couplings.

WH type-slider coupling has high noise, low efficiency, and fast wear. It is generally not used as much as possible. It is only used in occasions with very low speed, such as ball mills.

The material of the slider coupling parts can be 45 steel, and the working surface needs to be heat treated to increase its hardness; Q275 steel can also be used when the requirements are lower, without heat treatment. In order to reduce friction and wear, oil should be injected from the oil hole of the middle disk for lubrication during use. It is suitable for transmission with low speed and large torque transmission.
