RM coupling

RM coupling

A rigid coupling is a torsionally rigid coupling that has no rotational clearance even when under load. Even when there is a deviation that generates a load, the rigid coupling still transmits torque rigidly.

A rigid coupling is a mechanical component used to connect two shafts and transmit torque. It does not allow any relative movement between the two shafts, so it does not have the ability to compensate for the offset of the two shafts. This coupling is suitable for occasions where the alignment accuracy of the two shafts is extremely high, and there will be no relative offset during operation.

Process characteristics

· The overall material is 45# steel, which has high strength, light weight, good overall rigidity and strong resistance to deformation.
· The coupling is machined by turning, milling, broaching and other machining methods, and then undergoes overall heat treatment to ensure sufficient          mechanical  strength.

Design features

· Good vibration reduction capability can reduce noise and vibration during equipment operation, improve equipment stability and reliability, and provide operators with a more comfortable working environment

· During the torque transmission process, relative displacement between the two connected shafts is not allowed, including axial, radial and angular displacement.
