The drum gear coupling belongs to the rigid-flexible coupling. The gear coupling is composed of an inner gear ring with the same number of teeth and a flange half coupling with external teeth. The external teeth are divided into two types: straight teeth and drum teeth. The drum gear coupling allows a larger angular displacement (relative to the straight tooth coupling), which can improve the contact conditions of the teeth, increase the ability to transmit torque, and extend the service life.
